Using bugsTobuild means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The service is operated by NexodusCode.

A set of utilities — formatting, validating, converting, encoding, counting and cleaning up data — that run in your browser. No account is required. Every tool published today is free to use.

Paid plans are described on the pricing page as being in development. Nothing on this site can currently be purchased, and these terms do not create a paid relationship. When billing exists, terms covering it will be added here.

You agree not to:

• use the site to break the law, or to process material you have no right to process
• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems serving it
• scrape, resell or redistribute the site as your own product
• misrepresent the site or its results as something it is not

Beyond that, the tools are yours to use for whatever you need, including commercial work, with no attribution required.

What you paste into a tool is yours, and it stays that way: it is processed in your browser and not sent to us, so we acquire no rights over it and could not claim any if we wanted to. The output is yours as well — no licence back, no restriction on using it.

You are responsible for what you put into a tool and for what you do with the result. That includes checking you are permitted to process the data in question.

These are utilities, not advisers. They implement well-defined transformations — parsing JSON, decoding Base64, counting words — and they are carefully built and tested, but no software is free of defects, and a tool cannot know the significance of what you have given it.

Check important results before relying on them, particularly where the output feeds something that matters: production configuration, a migration, a filing, anything irreversible. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, security or other professional advice.

The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime. Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and the site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Because nothing is stored on your behalf, an outage costs you nothing beyond the inconvenience — but the site should not be treated as infrastructure you can depend on.

The site — its name, design, written content and the software behind it — belongs to its operator, except where stated otherwise. Using the tools does not transfer any of that to you.

The site is built on open-source software, each package under its own licence, and it links to specifications and documentation owned by others. Nothing here claims rights over any of that.

The site may load services operated by others — measurement and, in future, advertising. What they do with information about your visit is governed by their terms, and the privacy policy describes what is enabled today and what each one receives.

Links to external sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

The site is intended to be supported by advertising. Where an advertisement appears it is labelled as such and kept separate from the tools; an advertisement is never disguised as a tool, a button or a result, and never sits between your input and your output.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its output, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of India, and disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

These terms may change as the product does — when accounts, payment or advertising arrive, for example. The date at the top of the page is how you can tell. There is no notification system, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
